Mabel completed her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology and has many years’ experience working in a commercial genomics service provider working closely with clients from diverse industries.
She is a Program Manager at Bioplatforms Australia. Mabel leads several large national collaborative open-data initiatives in Agrifood, Biodiversity and Health. Each project is unique in its approach and outcomes, consisting of diverse groups of stakeholders across academia, government agencies, e-research organisations and Bioplatforms network service providers.
Mabel is also responsible for preparing annual reports to the Commonwealth and State governments.
Qualifications: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology & Immunology, Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science – First Class Honours)
